urrently there are allot of companies offering loans, but there is a only a handful of really great offers out there. Although we did not look at every loan company in detail, these are the ones that we would like to recommend to you.
When looking at the large banks in South Africa, you can get loans from FNB, Nedbank, ABSA, Standard bank etc. and they all offer great products and services. This said, it seems that qualifying for a loan with any of the banks are a bit harder than getting a loan from a smaller recognised loan company. Nedbank currently has allot of great offers for personal loans, so be sure to look at them in more detail.
When looking at one of these smaller recognised loan companies, you can surely look at Wonga in detail. Since this UK Company came to our African shores, they had literary made waves in the loan industry. They offer great service and flexible loans up to R2000 and R8000 for existing customers. You can also see on the site, once you select the amount you require, what your fees and interest is going to be. This allows users to view the exact detail and how long they require to pay back the personal loan.
This said, there are some good smaller loan companies in South Africa, but we recommend Wonga. When applying for a loan with Banks like FNB, Nedbank, Standard bank etc., you will have to provide them a quite a bit of information and documents and this can make the process application quite long. With Wonga you can apply without documents and the process takes anything from 10-20 minutes.
Always be careful who your sign up for a loan and be sure to look at the company in detail as well as their repayment terms and conditions.
